This 8-hour course is intended for Iowa Critical Care endorsed paramedics (CCP) who provide critical care transports for an Iowa critical care transport service (CCT). Class is great for nurses and respiratory therapists as well. Anyone who works in the Emergency Department, on an Ambulance, and in the ICU this class would be great to take to get up-to-date information in the field. Topics may include: Airway Management Respiratory Emergencies Cardiac Conditions Trauma Emergencies Pediatric Emergencies Medical Emergencies Operational Full attendance is required and no partial credit will be awarded. This class is approved for 8 CEH by Hawkeye Community College for EMS providers and 8 Contact Hours for nurses from Hawkeye Community College provider #5.
